l cream that you are not allowed to get inside your ?

I was diagnosed with a fungal infection of my (Candida, a yeast infection) and was given 1 pill and a cream, Clotrimazole Betamethasone Dipropionate. The cream says all over it do NOT use intrally, but I am supposed to put it on the area around my . Putting it right next to the opening, it is going to be practically impossible not to get some inside. What I want to know is how harmful is it going to be if/when it does get inside me?
