Ant problem in my apartment, can I get out?

Hi, I've been living in my apartment for a month now, and in this month, I've found ants covering my walls, counters, cabinets, furniture, 5 times! And, all of those times, in every corner of the room. I've called and let the landlord know, and they've sent an exterminator twice. Both times, they came in and spent 5 minutes, spraying carelessly all over my bed, counters, etc. Isn't what they spray dangerous? And then they used the gel that they eat and take back to the nest. They're still coming! I called the landlord, and they said they're just going to send an exterminator. Obviously, that's not very effective, and I really don't like how carelessly they sprayed all those chemicals on everything I own. Is there any way I can get out of my lease? I can't live like this!
