Could I have your advice on this poem?

whats the rat part. WOW, that's an unhappy poem. Personally I think you may want to ad in something about the choices she made and why, cause a housewife, is this by choice and also made the choice to have kids. So the unhappy house wife thing you got going here, doesn't provoke sympathy, it says this woman made her choices and Herr poor kids have to deal with a mother who is unhappy with them and her life. she chose to have the kids, they didn't choose a miserable mother who views them and their needs as nagging. So maybe go into that aspect, why her decisions have become her surroundings fault and personal misery.
