Did you have sea monkeys as a kid?

I never did, but am thinking about getting some for my youngest who are 4. I did love those crystal gardens kits, where you got these multi colored pebbles and put them in a round fish bowl and they would grow up, like stalagmites, in their pretty colors. I also liked super elastic bubble plastic. That stuff like swirled colored rubber/gum in a tube and you put a glob of it on the end of a straw tube and made these bubble ballon like things with it. I wasn't too much for silly putty or slinky. What did you love?
