To take airport bus or taxi from airport to hotel in taipei?

will be going with son and husband and thinking if i should save cost by taking the freego bus which stops outside the hotel ( from forum ) or taxi in case it rains? i am lost..... staying neart Xi Meng Ting... any suggestion for those who have done the bus route with the kid... is it still convenient dragging the luggage?
