My son's feet are xxwide and his instep is very high. We can't find shoes for him anywhere anymore. What to do?

Welcome to my world! lol My 6 year old should be wearing a size 1, but is often in shoes up to a size 3 because his feet are so wide. The magic words for the shoe people are "wide toebox". New Balance started making kids shoes, and they are extra wide, I love them! Also, at Payless, the boxes are marked if they are extra wide. Good luck!
