Too much reverb on snare drum?

My new drumset is crappy, but hey, it's a drumset. I put a blanket over the b drum and got a good enough sound, but my toms and snare drum reverbs a lot and makes that ringing sound. Is there something i can buy or find to fix it? I would like to dampen it or something. I have tried tightening/loosening the them, with no luck.
