What to expect from hospital check up?

I had 4th degree tears and an epidural so I felt the tugging but didn't feel total pain, just a lot of discomfort. I didn't have to go to the hospital for my check-up but after 2 weeks I had to go to my OB for her to check my stitches. She said it looked okay and to come back in 4 weeks. At my 6 week check up she said to wait 6 more weeks before resuming "normal activities" with my husband and that was it so I'm sure they're just going to make sure you are healing okay. Good luck!
