Do any women out there prefer their men in briefs aka tighty whities ?

I was debating with a Japanese friend of mine the other day and she said that she likes briefs better. that they are more economical, look better, and are easier to wash/store and they are more common in Japan. One day when her husband came home he discovered that all of his boxers had been replaced with plain old fashion whities and he accepted it without saying a word.
